GDC Postmortem - Bob

Hello, Reaplings!

Bob here, just wanting to give an update in our post-GDC 2017 world! The team and I had an excellent week in San Francisco. We were able to balance work and play, meet incredible developers-- both students and professionals alike.

I was able to talk with personal heroes from Double Fine (Psychonauts, Full Throttle Remastered), and iNK Studios (Black Friday: 1979 Revolution) Read ‘Em and Reap had a great showing as well, situated with other fine games from this years crop of Columbia College Chicago Games.

Our progress with the story, animation, and game mechanics really made an impact on the show floor. Some may have even enjoyed the ridiculously dumb puns peppered throughout!

And now, an update on the progress of development: We’re gearing up for the final stretch! With about over half of the games story content completed, we’re set to have a finished product by mid-May, 2017! Look forward to playing a fully voice-acted, and thoroughly entertaining 45-minute romp through the Underworld. I can’t wait for you all to play the finished game, and see what choices you all make throughout YOUR story! That’s all for now...but stay tuned for further updates in the weeks to come!
